I am a self-proclaimed anti-theist and am mostly fed up with organized religion's corrupt. The fanaticism that's inspired by the bible and word's like "lord" ultimately corrupted the perception of many religious poems and bible verses. The people, like David, who wrote the many of these religious poems were brilliant poets and wrote with many abstract metaphors. The clergy who propagate religious dogma conveniently misinterpret messages within the verses as either we should be fearing God, worshiping God, or giving the church money so God does not smite us. The real message about life gets lost. Anyways, this diatribe was taken right out of William Blake's playbook.

What I really like about this is that you do realize how so much of the bible is misinterpreted, (like Halcyon said) but you also seem to see the world as giving and abundant. Very nice "translation" and I agree, "I walk through the valley of shadow and death" is a great phrase.

Does a necessary evil just mean lower effort for high standard? Sorry. oh nevermind! You think that it is very uncomfortable.. but there is no other way.. ??

I can’t find the article but on the social people thinking badly about smart people, I just wanted to give you my input on it, even if you don’t care. Well! I have already tried this that you speak of.. fashion.. all of this.. and I got made fun of more often(boob jokes, laughing). Don’t get me wrong! More people are rude than usual.. which is oddly a good thing considering the quantity. (not quality,lol) … but I actually started doing more drugs and I’m not as smart anymore I don’t think.. But it’s possible that people don’t understand me because of my thinking. But I made some friends with some really cool dorks to jump start me into the right direction. For the record I would never tell someone to take that advice. lol.

By the way.. I was looking for more advice. SERIOUS advice.. and come on!! What’s wrong with being super human? I have many ideas for what person I want to be.. so just hear me out on one of them. I want to know how to BE smart? Or how to be my own movie character. I would rather have friends that are nerds.. (quotes) because I think that people are dumb still. And I’m not saying that because I think I’m smart. I’m saying that because I became dumb.. and people just so happened to be dumber than me, NO OFFENSE TO THEM. I just would have so much fun be smarter and smarter and smarter.

Do you understand? I’m confusing sometimes. If you hate replies or just mine.. then I’ll just read your articles a lot to feel better. You seem really smart on many subjects and I want to know how to do that.

I see that you are disturbed by organized religion, but at the same time you can't help immersing yourself in it to seek to rewrite it. I'm not sure what that says. Ok, so you want to write a poem about how much stuff you have and how contented you are, but to provide commentary on a word by word basis as to what the 23rd Psalm really means underneath the words of the author himself seems arrogant to me. But that aside, if you are going for style, why not maintain the poetry embedded in the psalm rather than removing most of the images. "I'm just a wild sheep in the pasture, and I have everything I need..." Since the psalm is principally about the Lord's guidance, once you remove "the Lord" the guidance is gone, unless you are going for an "I graze wherever I can get something" kind of natural guidance concept. But if you want to communicate that, using the 23rd Psalm just hurts your cause because you're not using your amazing natural intellect all by itself.
